In 2002, Joss Whedon created a show called, Firefly. It was a space/western set 500 years in the future.
It was an unconventional show for FOX in that it had amazing character-actors, brilliant writers and
directors, and one of the most engaging stories that I've ever encountered.
In typical Joss Whedon-fashion, it blended elements of comedy, horror, drama, mystery, action
and any other genre out there today. It was critically acclaimed and won an Emmy for
Special Effects. And FOX did what it always does to great shows. Cancelled it.

The story doesn't end there, though. Joss Whedon, being the relentless person that he is,
took Firefly to Universal Pictures and made a movie out of it. A movie that hopefully addresses many questions that
the series left unanswered.

I wanted to do a series of posters for the Guerilla Marketing Campaign.
So, this is River Tam. A girl that's being hunted by the Alliance because "her brain is special".
She's a little crazy too.
